My name is Thomas Bart.
I am an independent researcher, journalist, and photographer specializing in the practices and impacts of multinational companies, both in Europe and Africa.

My work covers a wide range of topics, including human rights, the causes and consequences of climate change, environmental damage, as well as corruption and illegal practices. I am also deeply interested in issues of colonialism, neo-colonialism, development aid, and military presence abroad, particularly in Africa.

For the last 10 years, I have conducted in-depth investigations in Uganda, where I lived many years. I have also worked on projects in France, Tanzania, Gabon, Togo, and other African countries.

After working for about 12 years with NGOs, I now primarily focus on investigative journalism, while occasionally collaborating as a research consultant.
